Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Services Specialist - General Operations Support (UAE National) in Abu Dhabi. The role supports day-to-day operational activities, ensuring accurate system updates, timely reporting, and coordination across purchase orders, parts, repairs, invoicing, and billing to back business execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in operations support, services operations, supply chain, order management, finance support, or similar administrative role.
• Understanding of purchase order processes, invoicing, billing, and operational follow-up activities.
• Ability to maintain accurate system data and timely updates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily services operations activities and follow up on open actions.
• Manage purchase order related activities: tracking, monitoring and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain accurate system data to support reporting and decision making.
• Develop and maintain reports on parts status, order progress, and delivery updates.
• Develop and maintain reports on repair status, invoicing readiness and PO updates.
• Support invoicing and billing activities with complete documentation.
• Collaborate with operations, commercial, sourcing, finance, and billing teams to resolve gaps.
• Provide regular updates to the services operations team on status of actions.
• Ensure timely follow-up on operational requirements to support revenue recognition.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
