Job summary

NewRocket is seeking a ServiceNow Lead Engineer to design and implement platform solutions, custom applications, and integrations. You will work with stakeholders to define core functionality within ServiceNow instances and enhance event rules for CMDB binding.

You will collaborate with technical SMEs to gather environment data for service mapping, Discovery, and related integrations, including the use of MID servers and Service Graph Connectors.

Qualifications

• Experience as a ServiceNow Lead Engineer focusing on Platform, Custom Apps, and Integrations.
• Ability to develop interfaces for various user audiences via custom application models or Service Portals
• Experience developing integrated logic and functional components using ServiceNow internal services and REST APIs
• Understanding of service-oriented and distributed application architecture
• Knowledge of credential-less and credential-based Discovery
• Experience installing, configuring, and integrating ServiceNow products including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Service Graph Connectors
• Ability to extend Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure and Application Patterns
• Proficiency in managing MID servers and configuring Identification Rules for Service Mapping
• Experience with command line console for Service Mapping and migrating patterns between environments
