Job summary

Remotedxb in Dubai seeks a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM solutions. You will implement workflows, custom scripts, and integrations to meet business needs.

You will collaborate with architects and stakeholders, ensuring secure coding practices while supporting upgrades and CMDB data quality. Strong English and hands-on JavaScript, Glide API, and REST/SOAP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript).
• Experience with Glide API and GlideAjax.
• Knowledge of ITSM and ITOM modules.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities across ITSM and ITOM.
• Build and enhance ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog Management.
• Implement and support ITOM functionalities such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and CMDB.
• Write and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Data Policies, and Scheduled Jobs.
• Develop reusable server-side and client-side components using JavaScript, Glide API, GlideAjax, and asynchronous client-server communication.
• Create and optimize workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor
• Design custom applications, modules, forms, tables, and integrations based on business requirements
• Build and manage integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Scripted REST APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and web services
• Perform advanced scripting for data transformation and import sets
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and secure coding practices
• Troubleshoot issues related to custom scripts, workflows, integrations, and platform performance
• Support platform upgrades, instance maintenance, patching, cloning, and release activities
• Maintain CMDB data quality through automation
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to convert functional requirements into technical designs
• Document technical designs and deployment procedures
• Mentor junior developers on coding standards and debugging techniques
