Overview of the Role
The Service Manager will provide multi-site leadership for Al-Futtaim Auto Centers, ensuring service operations consistently achieve financial, operational, quality, and customer objectives.
The position combines aftersales management with commercial responsibility.
Key priorities include revenue and gross margin performance, workshop productivity, WIP control, capacity utilization, customer retention, compliance, people development, and identification of local retail growth opportunities.
What You Will Do
Commercial and Financial Performance
- Deliver revenue, gross margin, and profitability targets across the service center network.
- Manage performance against approved budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor commercial results and identify actions required to improve financial performance.
- Develop local retail opportunities that support customer acquisition, retention, and market share growth.
Operational Excellence
- Audit service processes and identify operational inefficiencies across locations.
- Implement corrective actions to improve workshop productivity and capacity utilization.
- Oversee work-in-progress management and reduce aging cases.
- Improve operational efficiency while supporting stronger cash flow.
- Maintain consistent execution of service processes and operating standards across the network.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess performance and reinforce operational discipline.
Quality and Customer Experience
- Maintain consistent quality requirements and customer service standards across all service centers.
- Identify process improvements that strengthen the overall customer experience.
- Promote continuous improvement across workshop and customer-facing activities.
- Support digital adoption and process enhancements that improve service delivery.
- Ensure teams maintain required company standards and values.
People Leadership and Development
- Lead, coach, and develop service center teams across multiple locations.
- Establish clear performance expectations and reinforce accountability.
- Support structured training and capability-building initiatives.
- Use performance management to strengthen individual and team effectiveness.
- Work closely with local leadership teams to address operational challenges and maintain consistent execution.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with HSSE requirements across all locations.
- Maintain adherence to applicable quality standards and company policies.
- Monitor operational practices and address identified compliance gaps.
- Reinforce safe and disciplined working practices throughout the service center network.
Business Expansion
- Support new service center setup and network expansion initiatives.
- Contribute to operational planning for new locations.
- Support site ramp-up and stabilization following launch.
- Help establish the processes, resources, and operating discipline required for sustainable service center performance.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership capability with experience coaching and developing teams.
- Deep understanding of automotive aftersales operations.

What Qualifies You for the Role
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 10 years of experience in automotive aftersales operations.
- At least 4 years of experience in a leadership or regional role.
- Mechanical and engineering background is essential.
- Additional business or management qualifications are advantageous.
- Experience overseeing operational performance across automotive service environments.
