Agile Consultants is seeking a Service Engineer for Fire Alarm System Programming to perform programming, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of Fire Alarm Systems, with emphasis on Simplex systems.

The role requires hands-on experience in Simplex Fire Alarm System Programming, strong knowledge of life safety systems, and the ability to meet service level agreements while delivering timely customer support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Fire Alarm System programming and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Simplex Fire Alarm System Programming.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Fire Alarm Systems.
• Knowledge of Life Safety, Security, BMS, AV, ICT, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Our client in the fire protection industry is seeking a Service Engineer – Fire Alarm System Programming to perform programming, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of Fire Alarm Systems, with a strong focus on Simplex Fire Alarm System Programming. The successful candidate will ensure reliable system performance, respond to customer service requests, and maintain compliance with service agreements and applicable industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience programming Simplex Fire Alarm Systems, along with strong technical knowledge of fire and life safety systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide timely customer support while meeting service level agreements.

• Program, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Simplex Fire Alarm Systems.
• Perform periodic preventive and corrective maintenance on customer installations to ensure systems continue to operate reliably.
• Test, commission, and verify Fire Alarm Systems in accordance with project specifications and service agreements.
• Monitor graphic stations for alarms, error messages, and system alerts to ensure uninterrupted system operation.
• Respond promptly to customer service requests and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
• Maintain accurate project records, service reports, and equipment performance logs.
• Report recurring technical issues to Team Leads and recommend corrective actions.
• Log faults, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions to minimize recurring system issues.
• Monitor the performance of existing systems and recommend upgrades or system improvements where appropriate.
• Coordinate material requirements to support service and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, local regulations, and HSE requirements.
• Support the maintenance of Life Safety, Security, BMS, AV, ICT, ELV, and HVAC systems as required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Fire Alarm System programming and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Simplex Fire Alarm System Programming.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Fire Alarm Systems.
• Excellent knowledge of Life Safety, Security, BMS, AV, ICT, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
