Ideal candidates have 3+ years of ophthalmology experience, strong IT troubleshooting skills for lab equipment, and willingness to relocate to Company visa. UAE-based candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance for all machines following Health Authority and Quality Control policies.
• Respond to and resolve machine breakdowns; coordinate part deliveries and repairs.
• Provide applications support to Lab Technicians as required.
• Participate in trainings and maintain updated installation documentation.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and implement a regular and timely preventive maintenance plan in accordance with Health Authority and Quality Control policies and regulations.
• Ensure that all machines undergo scheduled preventive maintenance
• Installation of all the products trained on.
• Arrange pre-installation requirements for free commitment or local supply of Instrument ordered.
• Ensure proper installation of machines to prevent any issues for the customer.

Machine Breakdowns:

• Perform timely corrective actions in response to breakdown calls.
• Coordinate the prompt delivery of received spare parts.
• Promote and sell service contracts for various products managed.
• Meet the annual revenue target.

Application:

• Provide support to Lab Technicians with any application-related tasks as required.

Trainings:

• Participate in training sessions as scheduled or required.

Administrative:

• Ensure the timely submission of weekly reports.
• Assist the service coordinator in preparing Health Authority and Quality Control documentation for new installations.
• Maintain and update the instrument database.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to provide technical information and coordinate pre-installation site visits.
• Share relevant sales leads or information with the Sales team.

Reports:

• Periodic Reporting to the Line Manager.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Job Specific Skills:Hands-on experience with Ophthalmology equipments and related technologies, Strong IT troubleshooting skills for Labratory equipment, Servicing, Maintenance, Time Management
• Experience:3+ years of experience, Ophthalmology experience is a must
• Candidate should be willing to move to Company Visa
• Candidate are preferred to be based in UAE
