Qualifications

• MS in Welding or equivalent required.
• BS degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Welding Engineering or Metallurgy in fabrication/construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering deliverables for welding projects and development tasks.
• Develop the Project Welding Execution Plan and qualification schedule.
• Ensure priorities align with project schedules and track progress.
• Review and approve Weld Procedures with customers and certifying authorities.
• Collaborate with Welding Engineering and Fabrication teams on R&D projects.
• Maintain awareness of advances in welding technology across teams.
• Coordinate testing of welding qualification coupons with test houses.
• Mentor welding engineers and guide on codes and standards.
• Support development of automatic/mechanized welding systems.
• Manage training facilities for workforce development.
