Job summary

WSP in the UAE is seeking a Senior Engineer - Water (Hydrology & Stormwater) to lead hydrology design, stormwater management and drainage for major infrastructure and land development programs across the Emirate. The role demands an 8+ year track record and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams while developing technical leadership.

You will undertake hydrological modelling, prepare technical reports and support authority submissions, ensuring compliance with local standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering or related discipline with 8+ years' UAE experience.
• Experience delivering infrastructure and land development projects in the UAE.
• Strong modelling principles in hydrology and hydraulics and concise reporting.

Responsibilities

• Undertake hydrological assessments, drainage studies, flood risk analyses and stormwater designs.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic modelling including rainfall analysis and drainage network assessments.
• Develop sustainable drainage solutions and climate-resilient designs.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings and modelling outputs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support authority submissions.
