WSP in the Middle East seeks an Associate Director - Water (Hydrology & Stormwater) to lead technical delivery and strategic direction for hydrology, flood risk, and drainage across major UAE projects in Sharjah/Dubai.

The candidate will bring 18+ years of UAE experience, provide technical governance, manage senior client and authority relationships, and mentor teams to deliver innovative, sustainable water solutions while ensuring compliance with local standards.

Responsabilidades

Lead hydrology studies, flood risk assessments, stormwater management strategies, and drainage master planning for major infrastructure and land development projects.
Provide modelling and climate resilience analyses and sustainable drainage solutions.
Review and approve technical deliverables and ensure authority submissions.
Guide multiple large infrastructure programmes and mitigate technical risks.
Engage with clients and UAE authorities, lead workshops and design reviews.
Develop teams and promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Contribute technically to proposals, bids, and growth opportunities.
