Dautom, supporting a strategic client in Sharjah, seeks a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer with deep VMware and storage experience to manage a private cloud and data center infrastructure. You will orchestrate VMware Cloud Foundation 9, Cloud Director, SRM, and HCX across multi-site environments, while driving automation, backup, and modern infrastructure practices.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, cloud-native tooling, and continuous improvement in a complex enterprise setting in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Senior hands-on expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation 9, Cloud Director, SRM, and HCX.
• Experience with Dell servers and enterprise storage platforms.
• Knowledge of backup technologies and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, automate, and optimize private cloud and data center infrastructure.
• Lead VCF deployments, DR and multi-site architecture.
• Implement infrastructure as code and automation practices.
• Ensure security hardening and monitoring of the environment.
