Job summary

VaporVM is seeking a Senior VMware & Backup Storage Engineer to administer and support enterprise B2B cloud platforms based on VMware and Dell infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability across the environment.

The role involves managing vCenter/ESXi, NSX, Aria Universal Suite, and Dell Storage & Backup, with a focus on proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and ongoing improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience administering VMware and Dell storage infrastructure.
• Proficient with vCenter, ESXi, NSX, and vCAV.
• Strong patch management across VMware, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Experience in data center hardware interventions and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and operate VMware and Dell B2B Cloud infrastructure.
• Manage vCenter, ESXi, vCloud Director, and vCloud Availability (vCAV).
• Configure and troubleshoot NSX and NSX Advanced Load Balancer (ALB).
• Manage VMware Aria Universal Suite and infrastructure monitoring.
• Administer Dell Storage and Backup infrastructure.
• Perform proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Apply security patches across VMware, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Coordinate escalations with Broadcom/VMware and Dell EMC support.
• Perform required data center hardware interventions and reboots.
• Support security audits and implement recommended improvements.
• Contribute to infrastructure development, upgrades and migrations.
• Prepare monitoring reports, dashboards and operational documentation.
