Job summary

Intertec Softwares is seeking a highly experienced VMware Technical Specialist to own and operate VMware environments in a large enterprise setting in Dubai. You will lead a multi-tier technical team, own capacity planning and license compliance, and drive service improvements across virtualization, storage, and security domains.

The role demands deep VMware expertise, strong cross-domain knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, backup/storage, networking and infrastructure security, with end-to-end

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on VMware administration (vSphere vCenter ESXi vSAN NSX-T).
• Solid understanding of Windows Server and Linux OS, plus enterprise backup/storage systems.
• Experience in leading infra operations with capacity planning and VMware licensing exposure.
• Good understanding of infrastructure security and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with automation/scripting (PowerCLI Python Ansible).
• Certifications: VCP-DCV/VCAP is a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and optimize production VMware environments (vSphere ESXi vCenter vSAN NSX-T Horizon).
• Administer advanced VMware features: VCF Suite DRS SRM HA, snapshots, vMotion, host affinity rules.
• End-to-end capacity management of compute, storage and resource pools.
• Oversee VMware licensing: entitlement tracking, renewals and audit compliance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across hosts, clusters and storage fabrics.
• Oversee technical operations across Windows/Linux/Backup/Storage/Network layers.
