Job summary

HireHouse is recruiting a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer for Sharjah to manage and optimize a enterprise private cloud and data center infrastructure. You will drive automation, DR planning, and storage provisioning, leveraging VMware Cloud Foundation and HCX.

Expertise in VMware technologies, infrastructure-as-code, and automation tooling is essential. The role focuses on DR design, workload mobility, and cloud-to-on-premises migrations in a demanding enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• We are seeking an experienced Senior VMware, Storage and Infrastructure professional with hands-on expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation and DR design.
• Proficiency in private cloud, storage platforms, backups, networking, and automation is required.
• Strong scripting (Python) and REST API integration experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize an enterprise private cloud and data center infrastructure.
• Develop automation for infrastructure using IaC and API integrations.
• Lead disaster recovery design and workload mobility initiatives.
• Implement backup strategies and storage provisioning automation.
