Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is seeking a Senior UX Researcher in Abu Dhabi to support the design team with customer research and testing of digital banking products. You will work with Product Owners, Engineers and Designers to plan and execute qualitative and quantitative studies, develop user personas, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, stay current with UX research methods, and ensure ethical practices while advocating for the user throughout

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer-focused product companies delivering extraordinary user experiences.
• Ability to direct, drive, and evolve research projects in dynamic environments.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Able to break down complex problems and present to mixed audiences.
• User-focused design mindset; experience with user feedback, usability studies, or research.
• Experience letting data guide design in a dynamic process.
• Strong time management and self-direction; prioritization.
• Curiosity to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute user research plans aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research methods including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies.
• Analyze research data to extract insights into user needs and pain points.
• Create detailed personas and journey maps to guide design and development.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers and developers to integrate findings.
• Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Stay updated with latest UX research methodologies and tools.
• Ensure research is conducted ethically, respecting user privacy.
