Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in infrastructure, NFV, SDN or cloud environments.
• Hands-on Solaris 10/11 system administration and recovery procedures.
• Experience with SPARC/Oracle hardware and clustering technologies.
• Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux expertise across multiple versions.
• Proven ability to manage complex incidents with ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical coordination on customer sites and oversee offshore teams.
• Provide advanced support for Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, HA clusters, and DR solutions.
• Participate in customer projects involving Red Hat, Oracle, Dell, HP, and enterprise tech.
• Advise on system integration, architecture, and solution presentations.
• Manage customer technical requests and provide progress updates.
• Handle incidents, outages, and disaster recovery from inception to resolution.
• Troubleshoot OS, plan recovery strategies, and restore systems as needed.
• Coordinate with design teams, Level 3 support, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Develop automation using Ansible and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Maintain configurations, plan changes, and follow ITIL best practices.
