The The Cigna Group’s Dubai-based team is seeking an Underwriter to analyze markets and develop pricing strategies for Middle East group healthcare products. You will model pricing, evaluate renewals, and balance profitability with client expectations.

Requirements include 3–5 years in insurance analytics or underwriting, a finance-related degree, and advanced Excel with SQL; Power BI exposure is a plus. This on-site role focuses on cross-functional collaboration and market insight.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Insurance experience in finance, underwriting, actuarial or data analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills; ability to query large data sets with SQL; Power BI exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pricing models used by underwriters.
• Price and modify plan design for renewals and new business.
• Collaborate with client managers and brokers to meet pricing expectations.
• Manage portfolio balancing profitability and revenue.
• Analyze trends to inform benefits changes.
• Explain technical aspects and options to manage costs.
• Stay market aware of competition and client needs.
