Job summary

XAD Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Accountant (Payroll) to lead payroll operations in the UAE. The role focuses on accurate payroll processing, compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS, gratuity calculations, and close coordination with HR and finance teams.

The candidate will manage payroll for multiple entities, prepare reports, and supervise junior staff while maintaining strict confidentiality of salary data.

Qualifications

• M.Com, CMA or CA Inter qualification.
• 2–4 years of payroll and accounting experience.
• Experience managing payroll processes for multiple companies.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS, and gratuity calculations.
• Experience supervising junior staff members.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as SAP, Tally or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll processing for multiple companies accurately and within deadlines.
• Verify attendance, overtime, leaves, allowances, and deductions.
• Ensure payroll compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS requirements.
• Calculate gratuity, leave salary, and final employee settlements.
• Handle payroll accounting activities and perform necessary reconciliations.
• Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate employee salary records.
• Coordinate with HR teams to resolve payroll-related issues.
• Support internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work.
