Job summary

XAD Technologies in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to manage monthly payroll for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS. You will oversee payroll-related accounting, gratuity calculations, and supervise junior staff to maintain accuracy and timely processing.

The role requires 2–4 years in payroll and accounting, with an M.Com, CMA, or CA Inter, and will involve collaboration with HR and banks for salary transfers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gratuity, leave salary, and end-of-service calculations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy and timely salary disbursement.
• Verify employee attendance, overtime, leave records, deductions, allowances, and other payroll-related information before processing salaries.
• Prepare and process payroll files in accordance with company policies and UAE Labour Law requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Wages Protection System (WPS) requirements and coordinate with banks for salary transfers.
• Calculate and review end-of-service benefits, gratuity, leave salary, and final settlements in line with UAE Labour Law.
• Handle payroll accounting, salary-related journal entries, accruals, provisions, and payroll reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, employee salary details, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports, salary summaries, reconciliation statements, and other management reports.
• Coordinate with HR to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Support audits by providing payroll records and relevant documents.
