Job summary

Otak International in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Traffic and Transportation Engineer to lead traffic studies, designs and reports for roadway and infrastructure projects on-site. You will coordinate with internal teams, clients and authorities to ensure adherence to standards and client requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree (Master’s preferred) with expertise in traffic engineering, signal design and intersection analysis, and is proficient in Synchro, SIDRA, HCS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in Transportation or Traffic Engineering preferred.
• Strong skills in Traffic Engineering, signal design, and intersection analysis.
• Experience delivering transportation and traffic projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Analytical, written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Synchro, SIDRA, HCS, VISSIM, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver traffic and transportation engineering studies, designs and reports for roadway, highway and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Oversee traffic impact assessments, capacity and level-of-service analyses, and intersection/corridor studies; plan multimodal transportation.
• Prepare and review design drawings, technical specifications and calculations to ensure compliance with local and international standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams, clients and authorities; participate in proposals, scope development and stakeholder coordination.
