Job summary

Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai is seeking an experienced Civil/Transportation Engineer to lead the planning and execution of signage, addressing, and wayfinding initiatives across emirate projects. You will determine locations for regulatory signs, review street names, develop standards for traffic signs and road markings, and coordinate with the Roads Department to implement the addressing system plans.

Strong coordination and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering or Urban Planning.
• 4+ years (Bachelor) or 3+ years (Master) in related field.

Responsibilities

• Determine and approve locations for signs per regulations and standards.
• Review street names and house numbers for addressing integrity.
• Develop standards for traffic signs, guide signs, and road markings.
• Prepare general and detailed plans for addressing system at emirate level.
• Provide technical support on external advertising within the right-of-way.
• Establish project plans, schedules, and KPIs for signage and addressing workstreams.
