Job summary

EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Range Services Technician to support the setup, maintenance, and operation of test ranges used for evaluating equipment and vehicles. You will work with engineers and clients to ensure accurate testing and safe, compliant operations.

You will prepare test sites, manage equipment, and contribute to data collection and reporting, while following SOPs and safety protocols in a defense testing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 2 years in electrical/mechanical maintenance, preferably in defense or testing.
• Arabic speaker, fluent in English.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain test sites and range equipment for tests.
• Support deployment of testing equipment with engineers and clients.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Record test data and observations accurately.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients, and staff on test plans.
• Manage inventory of range equipment and spare parts.
