Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Land Test Team Lead to plan and execute complex land-based test and evaluation activities at Abu Al Abyad and other sites in the UAE. The role involves leading teams, coordinating with clients, and ensuring data is captured and reported accurately.

You will develop test plans, procedures, and documentation while mentoring engineers and technicians, driving safety and compliance across programmes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading technical teams of engineers/technicians.
• Experience planning and executing defence/test programmes.
• Knowledge of UN Series 4, STANAG 4569/4297/4439, AOP-39/55 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of land test activities at Abu Al Abyad Test Range and other sites.
• Collaborate with clients and engineers to define test requirements and configurations.
• Design setups to capture performance, safety, and evaluation data.
• Develop verification test plans, procedures, and documentation.
• Mentor and lead test engineers and technicians during activities.
