Job summary

Worley is seeking a Principal Telecom Engineer to lead telecom systems for large oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced telecommunications networks and equipment across onshore and offshore sites.

You will coordinate with discipline teams to ensure designs meet ADNOC and international standards while delivering on schedule and budget. Strong leadership and client interface skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Telecommunication Engineering is required.
• Experience in onshore telecom networks, SDH/OTN/DWDM, and related systems.
• Knowledge of multiple telecom subsystems and integration with IT networks.
• Experience with ADNOC and international standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee telecom systems design and delivery on oil & gas projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project scope and standards.
• Develop work plans and supervise telecom engineers and designers.
• Manage telecom specifications, data sheets, and design basis documents.
• Ensure design deliverables comply with project requirements and budgets.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders for approvals and changes.
