Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Telecom Engineer to join their team on oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The candidate will lead telecom engineering activities, ensure compliance with international standards, and mentor junior engineers. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering and 10-15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, focusing on FEED and Detailed Engineering. This role involves collaborating with various engineering disciplines and supporting procurement and construction teams.
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in Telecom Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years in onshore oil and gas.
- Proven expertise in FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (IEC, ITU, TIA/EIA, NFPA, NEC).
Responsibilities
- Lead telecom engineering activities during FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as specifications, datasheets, and drawings.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integration of telecom systems.
