Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Telecommunication Engineer for offshore projects in Abu Dhabi. The role leads telecom system design, integration with multi-discipline teams, and site surveys to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions across FEED and detailed engineering phases.

Candidates should have extensive offshore experience, ADNOC-related standards familiarity, and strong leadership abilities to guide project teams from design through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunication engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years total experience with 8+ years in telecom design for oil & gas.
• Experience in FEED and detailed engineering on offshore projects preferred.
• ADNOC/ONGC-like standards familiarity is advantageous.
• OPITO/T-BOSIET/H2S certifications are a plus; willingness to travel offshore.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, development and implementation of telecom systems offshore/onshore.
• Define design basis, standards and deliverables for safe, reliable telecom solutions.
• Coordinate with electrical, instrument and other interfaces; ensure codes compliance.
• Mentor engineers; drive quality, schedules and robust telecom deliverables.
• Review FEED/DE documents, specs, datasheets and interconnection diagrams.
• Coordinate with vendors; review studies and approve reports for telecom systems.
