Job summary
Kristina Zanic Consultants is seeking a Senior Technical Design Associate in the UAE to lead technical development and documentation for hospitality, commercial, and residential projects. Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years relevant experience in interior architecture / technical design.
- Post-contract and site experience on interior architecture projects, including shop drawings and inspections.
- Proven experience leading technical delivery of hospitality, F&B, luxury residential, commercial, retail or leisure projects (UAE/GCC preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and coordinate across disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority requirements, and constructability.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical development and documentation from design development through tender/IFC and post-contract delivery.
- Provide technical direction to CAD/BIM staff and ensure coordinated, buildable documentation.
- Mentor Senior Technical Designers and Designers; maintain QA/QC and project standards.
- Coordinate with Architecture, Structure, MEP, lighting, and specialist consultants for fully integrated solutions.
- Review and approve technical packages, shop drawings, and RFIs; manage on-site technical reviews and snagging.
