Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for a well established Dubai practice. You will collaborate with the Project Director, manage design through all stages, and lead Revit workflows for large international projects.

You must have 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE, and a strong grasp of British and American design standards and local regulations. Dubai office with 100+ staff awaits your expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Joining the Project Director in client meetings and helping to prepare the project brief.
• Delivering tasks across design projects, working with the team to complete deliverables in line with company policies and best practice standards.
• Managing design projects through concept, developed design, technical design and construction documentation.
• Managing the Revit workflow and models, and creating content.
• Carrying out regular model audits and clash detection simulations.
• Changing and revising drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
• Preparing floor plans, elevations, sections and technical details, and developing detailed technical drawings from design sketches, specifications and notes.
• Preparing final documentation for tender or construction sets, including drawings, specifications, 3D models and CAD files.
• Preparing advanced technical drawing sets as part of the technical and construction documentation packages.

A well established architectural practice in Dubai has picked up a run of new project appointments and is growing its team. They're looking for an experienced Senior Technical Architect to join them.

This one is for a creative architect with real technical strength. You'll have at least 15 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the UAE. You'll communicate really well and enjoy delivering projects in a collaborative, professional studio.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• At least 15 years of experience, with at least 5 of those in the UAE
• Experience on medium and large scale projects with international architectural practices
• Working knowledge of international design standards (British and American) and local regulations
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, architectural AI tools, and CSI and NBS specifications
• Experience working with the local authorities, including Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Dubai Development Authority and Dubai Civil Defense
• Up to 35,000 AED per month
• Work for a fantastic international company in their Dubai office with over 100 staff
