Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the IT Operations Engineering & Support Team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, or IT infrastructure roles
• Senior-level experience supporting enterprise server infrastructure in a highly available, 24-hour environment with hybrid infrastructure, automation, and security practices
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux systems, installation, configuration, monitoring, hardening, and troubleshooting
• Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Certifications such as Azure/AWS, ITIL, or SRE-focused credentials
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure across hybrid environments
• Maintain and upgrade servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and cloud services
• Develop automation tools for deployment, monitoring and incident response
• Monitor system health using dashboards, alerts and telemetry tools (e.g., DataDog, Kibana)
• Conduct root cause analysis and postmortems for major incidents
• Collaborate with software engineering, cybersecurity and product teams
• Establish SLAs, SLOs and error budgets to guide reliability
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection standards and audits
• Document configurations and procedures, and create troubleshooting guides
