Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Structural Lead / Building Inspector to oversee structural design, inspections, compliance and safety across diverse projects. You will lead inspections, review drawings and calculations, identify defects, and coordinate with architects, engineers, authorities and contractors.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering background, strong knowledge of codes and safety standards, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's level technical degree in civil/structural disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural inspections, assessments, design reviews, and technical evaluations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, or a related field.
• Proven experience in structural engineering, building inspection, structural assessment, or a related senior role.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, construction methods, building codes, inspection procedures, and safety standards.
• Proficient in Auto CAD, Revit, structural analysis software, or relevant technical tools.
• Strong technical, analytical, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Professional accreditation such as PE, Chartered Engineer, RICS, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience in commercial, residential, infrastructure, or large-scale building projects is preferred.
