Job summary

Tanqeeb is looking for an experienced Steel Structure Engineer to join our team. The candidate will design, analyze, fabricate, and erec t steel systems for industrial and commercial projects, with emphasis on adherence to codes and safety standards.

The role involves preparing GA and fabrication drawings, coordinating with fabrication and erection teams, and reviewing shop drawings and BOQs while conducting on-site quality checks and liaising with clients and contractors to meet project

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.).
Proficiency in STAAD Pro, Tekla Structures, and AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of structural steel design codes and standards.
Experience with industrial sheds, warehouses, or pre-engineered buildings (PEB) preferred.
Good communication and site coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze steel structures (frames, trusses, connections) as per relevant codes (IS 800 / AISC / Eurocode).
Prepare structural drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
Coordinate with fabrication and erection teams for on-site execution.
Review and approve shop drawings and BOQs.
Conduct site visits for quality checks and structural inspections.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors as required.
