Job summary

Parsons Corporation seeks an experienced Structural Inspector for public infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role focuses on site inspection, quality assurance, material verification, and contract compliance across multifaceted civil works.

You will maintain records, identify nonconforming work, and support safe delivery of complex projects. Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of regional experience, and strong reading of drawings, specs, and QA processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Inspector in the region.
Experience inspecting structural elements on public works or major projects.
Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, specs.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Inspect structural works and verify compliance with contract specs and drawings.
Review activities before acceptance and identify deviations requiring action.
Monitor demolition and ensure procedures are followed.
Inspect reservoirs, lifting stations, substations, tunnels, bridges, and related works.
Verify workmanship, dimensions, methods, and finished conditions.
Maintain certificates, SDS, inspection tags, and related docs.
Prepare daily diaries, reports, and project correspondence.
Maintain as-built plans based on field conditions.
Coordinate survey verification with subconsultants.
Support development of quality control procedures and safety practices.
