The Senior Structural Engineer will provide senior technical and construction supervision support across bridge, viaduct, and related infrastructure works in Dubai. Working directly with the Resident Engineer, the role will help coordinate multidisciplinary construction activities, resolve technical issues, and maintain control over quality, safety, records, progress, and handover requirements. The position requires strong structural engineering judgment together with practical site supervision experience. Accurate review of shop drawings, method statements, materials, testing results, and as-built information will help reduce construction risk and support reliable project delivery.
Candidates should hold a bachelor 's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited university. A minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience is required, with strong construction supervision exposure involving bridges, viaducts, roads, and major infrastructure projects. Candidates should be capable of reviewing and justifying material submissions, interpreting laboratory and technical reports, evaluating acceptance sampling plans, and confirming that testing and quality measures comply with project specifications. Strong knowledge of bridge and structural construction methods, engineering standards, technical documentation, and site supervision procedures is essential. The successful candidate should be fully computer literate and comfortable using project-specific engineering and construction software to access information, maintain records, and produce reports. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required, together with strong technical writing capability. RTA approval is an advantage. Experience supervising major bridge and infrastructure projects within the Gulf region is preferred, while engineering consultancy experience in the UAE or GCC will be particularly valuable.
