Job summary

Ideal candidates offer 10+ years onsite experience, PE license or equivalent, and strong knowledge of Eurocode, ACI and AISC.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil/Structural Engineering; Masters preferred.
• PE license or equivalent required.
• Chartered Engineer certification desirable.
• At least 10 years of onsite structural engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of coding standards (Eurocode, ACI, AISC).
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software (SAP2000, ETABS).
• Excellent communication and leadership for cross-functional teams.
• Experience with construction supervision and site problem solving.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering aspects of complex construction projects from design to completion.
• Conduct onsite inspections and assess conformity with designs and codes.
• Develop and review structural designs, calculations and drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and engineers to resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets and quality.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and local regulations.
• Implement and uphold safety protocols on sites.
• Participate in client meetings and business development as needed.
