Job summary

Egis in Dubai seeks a Senior Structural Engineer - Site to oversee large-scale building projects, ensuring design compliance, safety, and schedules. You will supervise structural and civil activities on site, review drawings, manage testing, and mentor junior engineers.

Strong knowledge of codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes), BIM tools (Revit/Navisworks), and hands-on UAE construction experience are required. Full-time, on-site role with multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in civil/structural engineering.
• 10+ years of civil/structural engineering experience.
• Senior site supervision experience on large-scale building or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all structural and civil activities on-site.
• Conduct detailed structural inspections and quality audits.
• Review and approve drawings, shop drawings, and construction methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements on site.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain project records and BIM data for project delivery.
