Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to deliver high-quality engineering services for building and infrastructure projects in the UAE and internationally. You will coordinate with clients, attend meetings with authorities, and support commercial proposals while ensuring timely delivery and compliance with SOCOTEC standards.

The role requires a degree in Structural Engineering and 10+ years of experience, with proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000, plus familiarity with Abu

Qualifications

Degree in Structural Engineering required.
10+ years of experience in structural engineering, UAE preferred.
Proficient with ETABS, SAFE and SAP2000 software.
Experience with Abu Dhabi codes and MePS system; ADM license preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide structural engineering and design review for buildings and infrastructure in UAE and internationally.
Coordinate project details with clients and attend meetings with authorities as SOCOTEC representative.
Attend site visits and meetings as required by the project and clients.
Identify business opportunities and work with Commercial team on proposals and quotations.
Liaise with Technical Manager and Accountant for reporting and invoicing; analyze financial data of projects.
Ensure delivery of high-quality work within client and SOCOTEC timeframes; uphold safety and quality standards.
