Job summary

Egis is seeking a Structural Design Engineer (Steel Structures) to lead design and analysis for projects within the Middle East. You will assess technical requirements, create models, and guide engineers and drafters to deliver safe, efficient structures.

The role requires 5+ years in steel structures, proficiency in major design tools, and the ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams while adhering to international standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Project technical assessment and design structural analysis to propose optimal solutions.
• Preparation of structural calculation models in engineering software, design calculations and technical specifications.
• Project value engineering and design input/advisory for the Project Manager/Engineer.
• Liaison with designers, engineers and architects to produce optimized designs.
• Supervising the drafting team for timely shop drawings and submittals.
• Coordination with Procurement and Subcontractors regarding materials for design purposes.
