Job summary

Inhabit is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to review and verify steel bridge designs, calculations and shop drawings. You will coordinate with consultants, clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.

With 8+ years in steel bridge projects and a strong knowledge of international design codes, you will assess structural integrity and recommend repairs or rehabilitation as needed. A UAE driving license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years as Structural Engineer on steel bridge projects.
• Experience in design, construction, inspection or rehabilitation of steel bridges.
• Familiarity with international bridge design codes and standards.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software and design tools.
• Valid UAE Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and verify structural designs, calculations, and shop drawings for steel bridge projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams for timely delivery.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Conduct structural assessments, inspections, and condition surveys of bridges.
• Evaluate structural integrity and advise on repair or rehabilitation options.
• Review fabrication and erection methodologies for steel bridge components.
• Ensure compliance with design codes and project requirements.
• Prepare reports, submissions, and project documentation.
• Attend meetings and represent engineering team in client discussions.
• Support value engineering and optimization of structural solutions.
