Role Context
The Senior Specialist provides strategic change management leadership between business functions and Group Digital and Cybersecurity teams. The position captures, evaluates, and prioritizes digital demand while helping business leaders understand how technology can improve performance, streamline operations, and support strategic objectives. The role also leads transition and adoption activities for new digital services and solutions. By combining stakeholder management, communications, customer engagement, roadmap planning, feasibility assessment, and change enablement, the position helps reduce implementation risk and improve the business value delivered by digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted digital advisor to business line managers and key stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary Digital point of contact for assigned business functions.
- Capture and understand business requirements, operational challenges, and digital demand.
- Prioritize business technology needs in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into structured digital demand for delivery and enablement teams.
- Maintain strong alignment between business priorities and Group Digital and Cybersecurity capabilities.
- Lead liaison activities between business functions and Group Digital and Cybersecurity teams.
- Provide guidance to business users on available digital services, capabilities, and delivery options.
- Maintain constructive customer relationships throughout the lifecycle of digital initiatives.
- Develop recommendations for coordinated application and technology project delivery across business units.
- Evaluate cross-business digital initiatives against corporate strategy and expected business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to combine or align initiatives where common requirements can improve value or efficiency.
- Support high-level feasibility studies during the pre-project phase.
- Assess whether proposed solutions or services are sufficiently viable to progress into formal delivery.
- Promote available digital solutions to business stakeholders.
- Design and execute awareness campaigns that improve utilization of digital platforms and services.
- Develop structured communications programs for digital customers and stakeholders.
- Maintain regular communication channels that strengthen relationships between Digital and business functions.
- Define digital change management strategies across Group Companies.
- Standardize communications approaches for Group Digital and Cybersecurity projects.

- Coordinate stakeholder engagement before, during, and after solution deployment.
- Support end users through changes to technology, systems, processes, and working methods.

- Act as Subject Matter Expert for future change management implementations.
- Build and continuously improve customer relationships through structured engagement activities.

- Supervise tracking of Business Portfolio Communications for Group Digital and Cybersecurity projects.
- Ensure business unit management receives timely and relevant project and service communications.
- Enable business leaders to articulate technology needs and performance requirements clearly.
- Coordinate with program managers, project managers, architects, and delivery teams on transition requirements.
- Support development of digital roadmaps and program delivery plans.
- Maintain regular engagement with ADNOC Group Company counterparts on technology-related matters.
- Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and service providers where required.
- Participate in benchmarking and knowledge exchange with regional and international technology organizations.
- Support protection of ADNOC digital assets and corporate information.
- Ensure activities comply with applicable information security standards, policies, regulations, and guidelines.
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate assigned Digital Change Management activities.
- Train and develop assigned personnel in relevant change management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Implement approved policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures.
- Provide budget inputs for assigned digital programs and change activities.
- Support implementation of approved budgets and work plans.
- Contribute to achievement of approved performance objectives.
- Design and implement tools that improve change management, stakeholder communication, and customer engagement processes.

- Provide digital change management input for MIS reports and management progress reporting.
Ideal Profile
The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor 's Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline. A minimum of 10 years of relevant IT experience is required, including at least 5 years in positions carrying progressively greater technical and managerial responsibility. Candidates should have substantial exposure to IT solutions, application development, project management, digital transformation, business relationship management, or technology change programs. Strong experience in stakeholder management, communications, change adoption, customer engagement, solution transition, business requirements, and roadmap planning is important. The role requires the ability to work effectively with business leaders, technical specialists, project managers, architects, cybersecurity teams, vendors, consultants, and end users across a large enterprise environment.
