Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in Dubai invites an experienced Sous Chef – Marina Estates to lead our culinary team in a renowned 5-star setting. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, develop menus, and ensure presentation and quality meet exacting standards.

With 8+ years in high-end kitchens and strong Arabic/Indian cuisine knowledge, you will mentor staff, control costs, and uphold HACCP and safety guidelines while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent; culinary qualification preferred.
• Arabic and Indian cuisine knowledge, including cost control.
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor and lead teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and inventory oversight.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a 5-star kitchen.
• Willingness to work shifts; available 18+.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations for efficiency and standards.
• Monitor resource use; optimize equipment, ingredients, and inventory.
• Develop weekly menus, monthly promotions, and seasonal offerings with Exec Chef.
• Ensure dishes follow recipes, quality, and presentation guidelines.
• Lead, coach, and support kitchen team to high performance.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and HACCP compliance.
• Address guest requests and feedback to enhance dining.
• Uphold health and safety practices; assist with additional duties from exec chef.
