Job summary

Chronograph is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for its SaaS analytics platform in Dubai. You will improve developer tooling and automate operational tasks with AI-assisted solutions.

The role requires strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, and observability. You will contribute to performance, security, and reliability while participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Experience architecting production SaaS infrastructure.
• Proficiency with AWS and Kubernetes in production.
• Ability to manage infrastructure as code and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure
• Maintain developer experience by building reliable internal tooling
• Build and use AI-assisted tooling to automate operational work

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
• Experience architecting infrastructure for production SaaS applications
• Proficiency with public cloud providers like AWS
• Experience with production Kubernetes clusters and managed database systems
• Ability to manage infrastructure as code and CI/CD workflows
• Experience integrating observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing)
• Strong communication skills and ability to write high-quality documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Ruby on Rails and Node.js
• Experience in a rapidly growing startup environment
