Qualifications

• Eight years in soft services procurement.
• Experience with tenders and e-auctions.
• Ability to present savings reports to senior operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Run spend analysis to plan LTPA and tender categories by priority and business need.
• Identify and pre-qualify new suppliers, prepare tender documents with evaluation criteria, and arrange e-auctions.
• Supervise the purchasing team s day-to-day work, approving POs and indents through the portal.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules with suppliers; review contracts for savings opportunities.
• Build material and service delivery plans for new project mobilization and keep heads updated on progress and blockers.
• Track spend against budgets and flag variances early.
• Evaluate supplier performance on cost, quality and consistency with site personnel.
• Prepare PO spend, open PO and savings reports for management review.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to verify procurement process accuracy and contract completeness.
• Attend industry expos and market research to identify new suppliers and cost reductions.
