Responsibilities

Overseeing and supervising the procurement team to ensure timely purchases.
Verify and approve PO, ARF and transport indents in the portal.
Assess and source quotations from potential suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, improved prices, payment and delivery terms with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings.
Understand needs of new projects and formulate material/service delivery plans.
Regularly update operation heads on mobilization progress and resolve issues.
Monitor spends to ensure they stay within the allocated budget.
Monitor suppliers and subcontractor performance with site staff and audit contracts.
