Job summary

Agency Helix is seeking a highly creative, strategic Social Media Manager to lead our social media team, develop innovative content concepts, and oversee campaigns for a diverse client portfolio.

You will drive shoots, moodboards, shot lists, and production briefs, mentor junior members, coordinate with designers and copywriters, and ensure content meets brand identity. Strong Sprout Social proficiency and UAE market knowledge are required.

• Strong planning and direction for shoots and content.
• Proven leadership of a social media team.
• Deep understanding of platform algorithms and engagement strategies.
• Excellent English writing and storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation and productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop original, engaging social media concepts and campaigns.
• Lead brainstorming and translate ideas into content plans.
• Create monthly content calendars and content pillars.
• Ensure content is innovative and on-brand.
• Identify trends and opportunities across platforms.
• Plan and coordinate photo/video shoots for client accounts.
• Develop moodboards, shot lists, storyboards, and briefs.
• Direct photographers and content creators; coordinate talent and locations.
• Review and approve content before client submission; manage team workload.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and account teams.
• Oversee publishing, community management, and reporting in Sprout Social.
• Monitor engagement, sentiment, and brand mentions; optimize performance.
• Lead client meetings, present strategies, and manage expectations.
• Ensure monthly reporting and timely delivery of deliverables.
