Job summary

Khatib & Alami International in Abu Dhabi seeks an Associate Site Project Manager (Abu Dhabi Projects) to lead construction supervision teams, manage schedules and costs, and ensure quality and HSSE compliance across complex sites.

The role requires engaging with clients, coordinating with authorities, and guiding projects from pre-construction through handover, drawing on deep regional experience and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required or equivalent.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
• PMP Certification or Chartered Engineer credentials preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of construction supervision services and relevant codes.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with client counterparts to finalize project commencement orders.
• Obtain approvals, permits, and NOCs; forward design approvals to contractors.
• Support Project Managers in managing client relations and resolving technical issues.
• Lead supervision teams through pre-construction, construction, handover and defects liability phases.
• Review contractors’ submittals, RFIs, and change orders with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation including reports and certificates.
• Maintain HSSE procedures and quality inspections in coordination with HSSE and QA/QC teams.
