Job summary

Khatib & Alami is seeking a Senior Site Project Manager for Abu Dhabi projects. The role leads supervision teams, manages schedules and budgets, and ensures HSSE compliance across complex site operations.

The candidate should have a Civil Engineering background with 15+ years in top-tier consultancies, Middle East exposure, and strong leadership and communication abilities to manage clients, contractors, and project teams effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Chartered Professional Engineering certification preferred.
• 15+ years of Civil Engineering and Planning experience in a top-tier consultancy.
• Experience in client management and leading complex supervision projects.
• Middle East experience and knowledge of local rules.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support senior supervision leadership with development of supervision proposals and input on costs, margins, risks.
• Lead kick-off meetings and align stakeholders for major/high complexity projects.
• Review and approve contractor work programs and submittals per requirements.
• Oversee QA/QC and HSE plans, risk management, and accident investigations.
• Manage claims, variation orders, and communications with clients and contractors.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and takeovers.
• Coordinate progress reports and payment certificates; oversee procurement and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with design approvals, NOCs, and authority requirements during pre-construction.
