Job summary

Khatib & Alami in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Site Project Manager for Abu Dhabi projects. You will lead supervision teams on high-complexity ventures, manage schedule and cost control, and ensure HSSE, QA/QC, and safety standards are met across the project lifecycle.

You will review contractor submittals, manage variation orders, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding the company’s reputation on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Master's Degree in Engineering preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent preferred.
• 15+ years of Civil Engineering and Planning experience in top-tier regional/multinational consultancy with supervision focus.
• Experience maintaining client relationships.
• Exposure to construction supervision, client/contractor/supplier management, contract administration, and quality management.
• Middle East industry experience.
• Knowledge of construction supervision services and international standards.
• Understanding of local rules and regulations.
• Strong project management skills.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager - Supervision with supervision proposals and cost input.
• Lead meetings and align stakeholders for major/high-complexity projects.
• Review and approve contractor work programs and submittals.
• Verify scope baselines and communication with stakeholders.
• Approve QA/QC, HSE plans, and risk management plans.
• Monitor project schedules and investigate delays with contractors.
• Respond to contractor claims and manage variation orders with client and contractors.
• Review RFIs and coordinate with design teams for queries.
• Ensure HSSE compliance and safety inspections on sites.
• Inspect works per inspection forms; manage testing and commissioning plans.
• Oversee as-built drawings, M&O manuals, and warranty certificates delivery.
• Ensure final inspections, testing, and handover procedures are completed.
• Prepare Take-Over Certificates, Defect Liability Certificates, Final Accounts.
• Distribute revised drawings and prepare progress reports with site teams.
• Review payment certificates and unit rates for new items; prepare invoices for supervision.
