Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Site Architect to oversee architectural aspects on construction projects at our Abu Dhabi site. You will ensure design intent is realized, coordinate with stakeholders, and address on-site issues to keep projects on track.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and at least 8 years of site and construction supervision experience on large-scale projects. On-site work model in UAE is required.

Qualifications

• On-site architectural supervision and adherence to design intent.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, engineers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction site to ensure architectural design is executed as planned.
• Monitor material quality and workmanship for conformance to specs.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and professionals to resolve design/construction issues.
• Ensure all activities comply with local codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Address on-site issues and adjust plans as needed.
• Prepare and present progress reports highlighting deviations and proposed solutions.
• Maintain records of site activities, including logs and change orders.
• Liaise with clients to understand needs and ensure satisfaction.
