Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Manager - Architectural - Construction Supervision to oversee on-site architectural activities and ensure compliance with design specs, building codes, and safety standards.

Lead coordination between design teams, contractors and stakeholders, monitor quality and safety, manage documentation, and mentor on-site teams on large-scale projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in construction supervision and site management.
• Proven expertise in architectural supervision and knowledge of building codes and construction standards.
• Strong proficiency in project management and coordination of multiple construction activities.
• Demonstrated experience with quality control, compliance verification and safety management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to architectural plans and drawings.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Manage communication with contractors, subcontractors and vendors for timely delivery.
• Review progress reports, timelines and budgets to identify variances and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed documentation including daily reports and inspection records.
