Job summary

Quantum Careers FR & EU is seeking a Senior Shift Allowance Calculation Specialist for a fully remote role based in the United Arab Emirates. The candidate will oversee complex shift-allowance calculations, validate attendance data, and reconcile with payroll systems to ensure accurate compensation across night, rotating, weekend, and holiday shifts.

The role requires a strong background in payroll operations, advanced Excel skills, and deep knowledge of UAE labor requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, HR, or Business).
• Experience with payroll operations and shift allowance administration.
• Strong understanding of shift-based compensation and payroll reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
• Familiarity with UAE labor requirements and attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee calculation and validation of shift allowances for night, rotating, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Review and apply shift allowance policies, rates, and payment conditions.
• Validate attendance records, rosters, and timesheets before payroll processing.
• Reconcile shift allowances with payroll and attendance systems.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve calculation errors.
• Coordinate with payroll to ensure timely processing of allowances.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation schedules and management dashboards.
• Maintain records of shift assignments, rates, eligibility, and adjustments.
