Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to own end-to-end UAE payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance and efficiency across Finance, Product and Engineering. You will mentor payroll specialists and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.

Ideal candidates bring UAE payroll experience, DMCC/MOL/WPS knowledge, and strong analytical skills. This role supports remote work with asynchronous collaboration across regions and functions.

Qualifications

• In-house payroll management or equivalent experience leading end-to-end UAE payroll.
• Hands-on experience with DMCC, MOL, or WPS workflows.
• Knowledge of payroll best practices.
• Proficient with SAP, Excel or Google Sheets.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process full end-to-end payroll in-house including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, and payments.
• Ensure payroll operations meet DMCC/MOL/WPS requirements and reporting standards.
• Maintain data integrity and quality.
• Accounting/reconciliations; focus on KPIs and SLAs.
• Mentor and support payroll specialists; back up regional managers during absences.
